WFencing Board of Directors Election 2024

As a member-driven organization, electing strong leadership is an essential member responsibility. WFencing’s Board of Directors represents a diverse group of coaches, fencing professionals, parents, and athletes who believe increasing diversity among fencing professionals to unify Team USA, reduce SafeSport complaints, and increase participation in collegiate and club fencing nationwide are mission critical. Working together with the entire membership, the Board is dedicated to representing the interests of all members and leading WFencing as one voice for the betterment of the USA Fencing community. 

The 2024 WFencing Board Elections will be done by electronic means, beginning Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 8:00 AM ET and ending on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at 11:45 PM ET.  WFencing Charter and Lifetime members who have joined by July 10th, 2024 may vote. Voting information will be sent individually via email to enrolled members 8:00 AM ET on September 8, 2024.

Candidates for Election

There are five (5) directors to be elected. The candidates for election to the WFencing Board of Directors are:

• Carissa HAMMONDS (Incumbent seeking reelection)

• Vickie MILLER (Incumbent seeking reelection)

• Diana MORO

• Jennifer OLDHAM (Incumbent seeking reelection)

• Cathleen RANDALL (Incumbent seeking reelection)

• Irem ULKU

WFencing will hold its Annual Meeting of the Membership on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 11:30 AM Eastern Time via Zoom.  Meeting information will be sent to all current WFencing members.
